Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr will not be back on Gossip Girl next fall.

The two actresses, both of whom have been with the buzzed-about CW hit's cast from the start, will not be returning for the fifth season, a show rep says.

Both Momsen, who has made clear her desire to focus on her rock career, and Szohr have been invited to guest star in the future, so things are amicable.

The remaining Gossip Girl gang, however, is intact, with Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford all planning to return.

Actress Kaylee DeFer is also joining the permanent cast as Charlie Rhodes, cousin to Serena van der Woodsen (Lively) and niece of Lily (Kelly Rutherford).

Momsen, who fronts the Pretty Reckless, began an "indefinite hiatus" from the show last fall amid headlines about her shocking interviews and fashion.

Szohr has always struggled to hit her stride on Gossip Girl, although that's more the fault of the writers than the actress. Hopefully this move is for the best.

Oprah Winfrey ends its 25-year run on May 25. What will the talk show queen do once she's done interviewing famous celebrities and sharing inspiring stories with her viewers?

The mega star made it clear in a recent interview with The Chicago Tribune: it will soon be off to Broadway.

"I have a stack of plays in my bag right now that I am reading," she said. "And just this past weekend, I was in New York meeting with producers. We were just talking about what would be the best route to take. But yes, this is really going to happen."

Adds Winfrey, who recently produced The Color Purple and was openly critical last week of OWN: "[After The Oprah Show wraps] it's time to do something for fun. This next phase of my life should be pure delight."

Oprah says she's looking for an "ensemble" production.

The stars of MTV's Teen Mom are basically a case study in why people should think before becoming parents. It's not all it's cracked up to be, is it?

At the very least, there are pitfalls as well as joys. Most of the ladies know this all too well, with family feuds and even arrest records to prove it.

But through it all, they do their best. Well, mostly. Jenelle is a mess.

So, THG ponders, which Teen Mom star is actually the BEST mom, fighting through adversity and shining bright? Let's break down the candidates:

Amber Portwood: Leah's mom must stand trial for felony neglect of a dependent and domestic battery. She was also in a recent nude photo scandal.

Catelynn Lowell: She gave up her baby for adoption, but she and her boyfriend / stepbrother still have a relationship with the child and its parents.

Chelsea Houska: Chelsea's devoted dad provides for his Aubree's every need. Chelsea herself? Mmmyeah not so much. Three letters, girl. GED.

Farrah Abraham: Despite adversity - losing Sophia's father in a car crash, feuds with his family and her own mom - Farrah goes hard. Respect.

Jenelle Evans: A courthouse mainstay even before she beat the crap out of Britany Truett, there's no way Jenelle deserves a single vote below.

Kailyn Lowry: Working two jobs while going to college, while sharing custody of son with her ex, Jo, Kailyn is bustin' her butt for lil' baby Isaac.

Leah Messer: While she and Corey Simms are divorcing, Leah seems devoted to twins Aliannah, who has a developmental disorder, and Aleeah.

Maci Bookout: Always assured and independent, Maci has had her share of relationship woes, but always raises Bentley with a lot of maturity.

Teresa Giudice on New Season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Sad Times Ahead...

Depressing times are ahead on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. At least for Teresa Giudice.

Previewing the new season of the Bravo hit, which premieres on May 16, Giudice said "sad" times are ahead for her and her immediate family. The reason? New cast addition, sister-in-law Melissa Gorga.

"You're going to see a totally different side of me this season," Teresa told E! News. "It's really sad. I cry a lot on the show and it's very hard for me."

The season will focus heavily on Teresa's damaged relationship with her brother, Joe, which fell apart after he married Gorga.

On the upcoming premiere, an all-out brawl takes place during Melissa and Joe's christening shindig for their son, all due to nasty words exchanged with Teresa.

Giudice said her heart is broken over the fractured ties to her sibling, especially because she was initially a fan of Gorga's: "I was really happy for them," she said. "I wanted him to get married so bad. That was is third fiancée, so we just wanted him to get married. We always said we wanted our kids to grow up together. And I really wanted her to become the sister I never had."

That didn't happen, although the reasons why are unclear. But this is how bad things (supposedly) are: Teresa learned that Melissa was coming on board from Bravo.

"I got the phone call from Bravo and I was like blown away. I was like, 'Really?' And then that's what made me a little upset because I was like, 'Wow, it would have been nice for my brother to call me or my cousin to call me. It's just weird to me. It really is. Just blows my mind."

Viewers will also meet Teresa's cousin, Kathy Wakile, on the season premiere.

Happy birthday to the sextuplets of Jon and Kate Gosselin!

Alexis Faith, Hannah Joy, Aaden Jonathan, Collin Thomas, Leah Hope and Joel Kevin Gosselin turn seven today (older sisters Cara and Mady are 10).

Naturally, one of the two birthday parties Kate Gosselin will throw for the kids will be for the benefit of the TLC cameras for airing on Kate Plus Eight.

The second will be at home. No word if she will invite Jon Gosselin to that one, but they've actually gotten along better lately, so here's hoping.

In any case, happy birthday to six adorable youngsters ...

Kids. They grow up so fast.

Needless to say, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel have not had your standard upbringing. Hopefully things mellow out in the coming years.
