Whitney Houston has checked into rehab.
Interestingly, it's an out-patient rehabilitation program, it's NOT for drugs or alcohol and Houston has already been in the program for 10 days or so.
The program allows Houston to go out in public as long as she has a monitor. Last weekend, Whitney was enjoying herself at a Prince concert in L.A.
Her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was right by her side. So what gives? It's unclear why Houston is in treatment but sources say it's not for drugs.
"She's cleansing herself to get ready for a new movie," a source tells TMZ.
Whether anyone believes that is another story, but we hope she gets well.
