Michael Lohan got popped on three felony charges late Monday night.

The father of Lindsay was arrested in West Hollywood, Calif., after a female companion accused him of domestic violence at a nearby apartment, police say.

MiLo was booked for inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant, false imprisonment and preventing a report of victimization, Lt. John Ratto just confirmed.

Michael Lohan's bail has been set at $200,000!

"Mr. Lohan was arrested after we received a call around 9 p.m. regarding a domestic dispute," Lt. Ratto said of what is the latest in a string of such reports.

Lohan, who has had past run-ins with the law and has done time in prison, appears not to have been on probation at the time of arrest, Lt. Ratto added.

"He was detained after he was spotted walking on the street near our station, showing no signs of intoxication that I'm aware of. He has been cooperative."

Interestingly, MiLo complained of a medical condition not related to the incident while at the station and was taken to L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Sheriffs are declining to identify, the victim, who suffered minor injuries and declined medical treatment. Could it have been ex-fiancee Kate Major? Again?

We have no idea but she has made allegations like this before, and MiLo is charged with "corporal injury on a cohabitant," not an attack on some stranger.

The domestic violence charge implies by nature that he is in a relationship with this person, whomever it may be. More details will surely emerge soon.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan will appear in court this week to either accept a plea deal in her felony grand theft case or proceed with trial. Like father ...
