Chris Brown made headlines this week, and not strictly for the release of his new album, F.A.M.E. He may have even more enemies to forgive at this point.
The star exploded on Good Morning America followed a tense on-air chat with Robin Roberts, reportedly smashing a dressing room window and storming out.
During a Wednesday appearance on the BET video show 106 and Park, Brown made his first public comment on the incident, offering this apology:
"First of all, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, or anybody who was offended or really looked, and [was] disappointed at my actions."
Brown added: "Because I'm disappointed in the way I acted.
GMA host Roberts and ABC at large aren't holding a grudge. Yesterday, she said on-air that she was "shocked like everybody else" by how things turned out.
She said her relationship with Brown has been "wonderful" and he'd be welcomed back. ABC is not pressing charges and Chris is still on for DWTS next week.
He got lucky in that respect. The apology is a good start. If we were Brown, for the sake of his career prospects if nothing else, we wouldn't stop at just one.
